Collection: Humboldt Apparel

Humboldt is far enough north that it stopped being an extension of anywhere else a long time ago.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Humboldt County, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, crop tops, crop sweatshirts, hats, beanies, bucket hats, mugs, travel mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and wall flags.

The redwoods are the reason people come — the tallest trees on earth, standing in groves along the Avenue of the Giants and up through Redwood National and State Parks. The fog off the ocean is what keeps them alive, and it's why the whole county is damp and green in a way the rest of California isn't.

Eureka has the Victorians, including the Carson Mansion, which is the most photographed house in Northern California. Arcata has the university and the plaza. The Lost Coast is the stretch the highway engineers gave up on — too steep to build through, so they routed around it, and it stayed wild.

It's a five-hour drive from San Francisco and feels considerably further.

Printed on demand in the US, shipped in a few days.

Down the coast: Mendocino, over the mountains to Redding, and the statewide California collection.
