Collection: Palo Alto Apparel

Palo Alto is a university town that accidentally became the center of an industry, and has been quietly ambivalent about it ever since.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Palo Alto, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, mugs, travel mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes and stickers.

Stanford sits on the west side behind the palms, big enough to be its own geography. University Avenue runs from the train station toward campus. The garage on Addison where Hewlett and Packard started is a state landmark, which is a strange thing for a garage to be. And the Baylands out past the airport are the largest stretch of undisturbed marsh left on the bay — flat, quiet, full of birds, and about as far from a pitch deck as you can get in fifteen minutes.

The Eichlers are still here. So is the Dish loop, and the people who walk it every morning without once discussing valuations.
