Los Angeles is less a city than a hundred neighborhoods that agreed to share a name and a freeway system.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Los Angeles, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, hats, mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, can glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and water bottles.

Nobody experiences all of it. You get your handful — your side of town, your canyon or your flats, your surface streets that beat the 10. Highland Park is not Venice is not Boyle Heights is not the Valley, and the people who live in each will tell you the others don't count. The thing every version shares is the light, which does something in the late afternoon that photographs badly and has to be seen.

Wearing LA is claiming a piece of something too big to claim. That's part of the appeal.
