Chico is a college town at the top of the Sacramento Valley with a park bigger than most cities have any right to.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Chico, on shirts, hats, mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes and stickers.

Bidwell Park runs eleven miles up the canyon from the edge of downtown — one of the largest municipal parks in the country, with swimming holes in Big Chico Creek that generations of students have treated as a birthright. Sierra Nevada started brewing here in 1980 in a building the size of a garage.

The valley around it is orchards, mostly almonds and walnuts, and the town has always been the place where the farms and the university meet. Summers run hot and long. Everything happens outside anyway.
