Collection: Capitola Apparel

Capitola is one square mile of beach town wedged into a gulch, and it has been a resort since 1869 — the oldest one on the Pacific coast.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Capitola, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, crop tops, hats, bucket hats, beanies, mugs, travel mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and wall flags.

The Venetian Court is the thing everyone photographs — a stack of pastel cottages built right on the sand in the 1920s, painted in colors nobody would approve today and all the better for it. Soquel Creek comes down through the middle of the village and out under the trestle.

Just east is Pleasure Point, where the surf lineup has its own rules and its own regulars. Capitola Village fills up all summer and belongs to locals again by October, which is when it's best.

Printed on demand in the US, shipped in a few days.

Along the bay: Santa Cruz, Monterey and the Bay Area.
