Redding

Redding sits at the top of the Sacramento Valley with Mount Shasta on the horizon and the river running straight through the middle of town.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Redding, on shirts, hoodies and wall flags.

The Sundial Bridge is the landmark — a white cantilever spar crossing the Sacramento River, designed by Santiago Calatrava, and genuinely one of the more striking pieces of architecture anywhere in Northern California. It works as an actual sundial, which almost nobody checks.

This is the gateway end of the state. Lassen is an hour east, Shasta an hour north, Whiskeytown fifteen minutes west with a lake and waterfalls in it. Summers here are famously, aggressively hot, and everybody deals with it by getting on the water.
