El Segundo Apparel

El Segundo is named after an oil refinery — the second one Standard Oil built in California — and has somehow become one of the most sought-after small cities on the coast anyway.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for El Segundo, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and wall flags.

It sits directly under the LAX flight path, which locals stopped hearing years ago. Aerospace built the modern town and never entirely left. The Lakers and the Kings train here. Main Street still runs like a small-town main street, a mile from one of the busiest airports on earth.

The beach at the end of Grand Avenue is wide and largely uncrowded, because most people driving down the coast don't think to stop.
