Garden Grove Apparel

Garden Grove is one of the most internationally rooted cities in Orange County, and most of what makes it interesting is on Bolsa Avenue.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Garden Grove, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, mugs, travel mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and wall flags.

Little Saigon runs through here and through neighboring Westminster — the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam, built by families who arrived after 1975 and turned strawberry fields and strip malls into a full commercial and cultural center. The food alone justifies the drive from anywhere in Southern California.

The rest of the city is the postwar Orange County that got built fast and cheap in the 1950s and has been quietly becoming something more layered ever since. The Strawberry Festival still runs every Memorial Day weekend.
