Collection: Monterey Apparel

Monterey was the capital of California before California was American, and it has the adobes to prove it.

This collection is our California bear flag design, made for Monterey, on shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, hooded tees, crop sweatshirts, bucket hats, mugs, travel mugs, tumblers, pint glasses, wine glasses, blankets, totes, stickers and wall flags.

Cannery Row was a working sardine row until the fish disappeared in the 1950s, and Steinbeck wrote it down before it went. The aquarium sits in what's left of a cannery, looking out at a bay with a submarine canyon under it deeper than the Grand Canyon — which is why the wildlife here is what it is. Otters in the kelp, whales close enough to see from shore.

The fog comes in most mornings and burns off around noon, or doesn't. That's the deal.
